These are our School Development Priorities
Key Priority 1: Oracy
To enhance practice within the school in relation to oracy, vocabulary acquisition and reading to ensure children have the appropriate language skills to access the whole curriculum.
Key Priority 2: Adaptive Teaching
Raise the profile of adaptive teaching practice within QFT - teachers will understand pupil levels of attainment and implement appropriate adaptations so all pupils have opportunities to experience success across the curriculum in an inclusive classroom.
Key Priority 3: Writing Pathway
To embed the Writing Pathway to ensure good progress in writing for all pupils and the number achieving age related standards in writing each year group to be in line with national outcomes 2024 (focus Y2/Y6).
Key Priority 4: Subject Leadership
To ensure subject leads are effective in their roles and within their subject responsibility know:
· the curriculum intent – what we want children to learn framework/coverage/progression/end points
· how this intent is implemented at classroom level
· the impact of our curriculum intent – how effective is the teaching and learning across the curriculum
